BASE LINE OF APPRAISAL

MUSEUM OF CONTEMPORARY ART GEORGIA (MOCA GA) WORKING ARTIST PROJECT (WAP)

JUNE 28 - AUGUST 25, 2019

Base Line of Appraisal is an assembly of foundations, constructed of concrete and wood, and arranged schematically alongside structural forms and compositions. Familiar and ubiquitous building materials are positioned in a moment of pause and expectation. While honoring the materiality of our constructed landscapes, this installation reflects the potential inherent in these bare foundations and indeterminate forms, and attempts to open a space of possibility.

2018-2019 WAP Fellows selected by Allison  Glenn, Associate Curator of Contemporary Art at the Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art.
